Dr. John Ebnezar is an internationally renowned orthopedic surgeon, passionate about creating, conceptualizing, implementing preventive new orthopedic health awareness modules with an aim to propagate low-cost orthopedic health care. He is specialized in trauma, spine, geriatric orthopedics and sports medicine. He holds Guinness World Records both for academics (2010) and social service (2015), an only orthopedic surgeon in the world to do so. He is a Ph.D. in yoga, involved in 6 original-yoga kinds of research, won Best Research Award from Vyasa Yoga University (2012) for his work on knee arthritis and role of yoga in fracture healing (2010). He has pioneered a new treatment method, WHolistic Orthopedics, by blending modern orthopedics with Indian Yoga, which is simple, cheap, effective alternative for patients for whom knee replacement is not an option and also for patients with modern lifestyle orthopedic problems and has redefined the way orthopedic ailments are treated across the globe. Dr. Watanabe had graduated from Keio University, School of Medicine in 1965, and got his Doctors degree in 1970. He had worked as a Assistant Professor, Department of Pathology, Keio University School of Medicine during 1973 and 1977, Visiting Scientist of National Cancer Institute, USA (1975-1976), Section Head of Pathology Division and Director of Epidemiology Division, National Cancer Center (1985-1996). He had also worked as a Professor and Chairman, Department of Nutrition and Epidemiology, Tokyo University of Agriculture (1995-2005), and Director General, National Institute of Health and Nutrition (2005-2009). At Present, he is the President of Life Science Promoting Association since 2009. He is also the President of the Society of National Integrated Medicine (2011-Present). He was the President of APCCN 2014 in Tokyo in 2013 and the Chairman of the East Asia Conference on Standardization of Rice Function in Kyoto in 2014. He is the chief editor of the Clinical and Functional Nutriology and the Life Science in Japan. He was an emeritus member of the Japan Pathological Society, Japan Epidemiology Society, Japan Cancer Society, Society of Functional Food Factors, etc. He had done more than 2000 autopsy as pathologist, had built population based prospective cohort study (JPHC study), contributed to expand shoku-iku (eating education) as a chairman. He was also one of the scientific board members in the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Ministry of Agriculture, Forest and Fishery, Cabinet Office and Environmental Agency.

Dr. Naguib has many years of clinical experience in paediatrics. He has contemporary experience in the management of young children and teenagers with endocrine disorders specially childhood diabetes and obesity, including modern therapeutic interventions like insulin pump and continuous blood glucose monitoring. Dr. Naguib also runs a general paediatric clinic that deals with common paediatric problems like fever, asthma and common respiratory problems, vaccinations, common gastrointestinal disorders, follow up of nutrition, growth and development. Dr. Naguib’s professional experience also includes academic appointments with the University of Sharjah, UAE, as an Associate Professor of Paediatrics in the College of Medicine and Health Sciences. He is also the chairman of the hospital CME Committee at UHS and provides leadership, coordination and direction to both internal and external CME programs. Huda is an associate professor at The Hashemite University in Jordan. She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics. She worked in the academic field in different universities and taught many courses in nutrition and dietetics for undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is engaged in many courses and training workshops in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO), Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), and was recognized by the WHO as a Regional Facilitator for the WHO new growth standards. She prepared the Food and Nutrition profile for Jordan 2011 in collaboration with FAO and she has published many papers on obesity and its relation to diabetes mellitus and breast cancer in international journals.
